Mr. Hiroyuki Faukano founded Glocal Solutions Japan in April 2020 with the mission of bridging Japan’s regional resources and advanced technologies to global markets. Since then, he has supported the international expansion of Japanese SMEs in 49 countries, helping them achieve sustainable growth in global markets.
Mr. Fukano began his career in the manufacturing industry before serving as an executive in an environmental business. He later established NPB Trading Co., Ltd., accumulating extensive experience in both frontline operations and strategic business management within the global arena. He is particularly skilled in expanding overseas sales channels for Japanese SMEs with niche but world-class technologies. His services include end-to-end support—from market strategy development to business negotiations with local partners.
In Southeast Asia, he has successfully facilitated projects in key areas such as automation and decarbonization. In recent years, Mr. Fukano has focused on creating new industrial linkages between Japan and Southeast Asia amidst rapid global change, promoting sustainable growth through cross-border collaboration.
He has also delivered lectures at a wide range of venues, including Waseda University, the University of Fukui, and the Yokohama City Council.
