Overview
Empowering Women Entrepreneurs and MSMEs through Regulatory Reforms is the research launch event that is designed to share critical research findings on regulatory reform within ASEAN countries, with a specific focus on Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This event was held on March 06th, 2025, in Jakarta, Indonesia.
This Panel Session 4 — Advancing Inclusive Growth: Product Safety for Women’s Economic Empowerment and MSMEs — was part of the Research Launch Event. This event serves as a platform to inform stakeholders about identified barriers and opportunities within ASEAN’s Regulatory Frameworks (including Consumer Product Safety, Standards and Quality Compliance, Good Regulatory Practices) and their implications for gender equality and MSME development.
